Fake essential oils
Recently, we have witnessed that people increasingly recognize the healing properties of essential oils, whether they are used in aromatherapy, teas, various skin care preparations, natural repellent, scents, oral or some other forms of application.
Since essential oils are becoming more and more popular lately, so there has been an increase in counterfeiting. Because of a lack of industry standards and a lack of regulation on terms such as “natural” or “pure”, much of what you find at the drug store and on the internet shops is NOT a therapeutic grade of essential oil and may lack real quality or even contain contaminants or adulterants (much more common than you’d think).
Fake oils are very bad for both users and manufacturers, because when someone not so skilled purchases fake oil instead of having the benefits of such a product, he can get even counter effect which is very bad for both the buyer and the farmers.
In today’s market it is a real success to find pure oil, not to talk about good analyzes for the same. Helichrysum italicum essential oil is no exception, especially because of its high price these essential oil is very attractive for various malversations.
Here we are not talking about cheap helichrysum oils that you can find in hypermarkets, various web sites, where for example 20 ml of immortelle essential oil sells at prices lower than $ 10. For such oils you should already know that they are fake.

At the moment the best way to fight such fraud is to inform as many people as possible to avoid such companies and buy from trusted sellers, or preferably buy your essential oils directly from the distillery.
